Dreams for Kids and the Caps are teaming up to give children with physical and developmental disabilities the opportunity to play hockey, many for the first time! The Extreme Recess clinic will celebrate the ability in all children and show them how truly ABLE they are.

The event will bring together 75 youth with physical and developmental disabilities, their families, high-level disability advocates, volunteers, several capitals players and members of the coaching staff.

The Capitals Get Back in the Rink for Practice After Loss Against the Ducks

After last night's tough loss against the Anaheim Ducks, it was back to the rink for practice this morning for the Washington Capitals. Practice sessions are open to the public and free of charge, so you can go check them out at the Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, VA. Being from San Diego, I don't know much about ice hockey, but there were tons of fanatic fans there snapping photos and watching their favorite players getting their practice in. The Washington Capitals have their next home game on Tuesday, December 21 against the New Jersey Devils. 

General times for practice and morning skates are as follows:

Non-game day:
 10:30 a.m. on ice

Game day:
 10 a.m. on ice

Day after game:
 11 a.m. on ice
