ARLINGTON, Va. (WUSA9) -- A man who stopped and asked a woman for directions in Arlington groped her and then kissed her on the cheek, Arlington County police said.

The sexual assault happened Monday around 9:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of Columbia Pike when a man approached the victim asking for directions. Police say, the victim looked at her cell phone for directions and the man then groped her. He pulled the victim closer and kissed her on the cheek, according to authorities.

The man fled when the woman screamed.

Police say, the suspect is described as a Middle Eastern man, about 5'4" tall and has a thin build. The suspect does not seem to match the description of the man who has been attacking women on park trails in the area, police said.
