Imagine winning $100,000 dollars twice in a three month span.
For someone like me who plays the Virginia Lottery ever so often, this is a dream. For Arlington resident, Joseph Sylvester, this has become a reality.
“It feels great to win. I guess the only advice I have is: Expect to win,” explained Sylvester.
Sylvester realized he matched all five numbers in the July 3 Cash 5 drawing after he checked his numbers on the Lottery’s website. He purchased this ticket at the 7-Eleven at 1500 South Fern Street in Arlington, Va., where he used Easy Pick, which allowed the computer to randomly select the numbers on his ticket. The winning numbers were 11-15-19-26-27.
In April, Sylvester bought his first lucky ticket at Crystal City News located at 1691 Crystal Square Arcade. With this money he bought a new truck and paid bills.
Sylvester plans to pay more bills with his most recent winnings, and continue to play the Virginia Lottery.
The chances of winning the $100,000 top prize in the Cash 5 game are 1 in 278,256.
