Feel the Heritage Festival Coming Soon

Hundreds of Arlington County residents will be celebrating the rich culture and history of African Americans at the 19th Annual FEEL THE HERITAGE FESTIVAL on Saturday, February 26, 2011, Noon – 5 p.m., at Charles Drew Community Center, 3500 S. 24th St. in Arlington. This year's festival will include arts and craft vendors, make-it-and-take it crafts, a full array of great entertainment and educational programming and, of course, delicious food. Admission to the festival is free. Feel the Heritage Festival is sponsored by Arlington County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources and Arlington County Public Schools and put together by a dedicated group of community volunteers.

The goals of this exiting event are to celebrate African American history, honor Arlington's African American heritage, build community and help people connect and have fun and promote Arlington's homegrown talent and generate business to Arlington's small businesses. Here's how you can get involved.
