Signature Theatre Presents Rock Musical Chess

The 1980’s rock hit song “One Night in Bangkok” was simply unforgettable. Now this radio hit, along with other memorable rock scores, will be playing in the Signature Theatre in Arlington in the next few weeks when the musical Chess hits town.

Chess  is about two international chess masters from America and Russia competing in a world championship match only to find out that they are also in love with the same woman. This rock music brings a return to Cold War intrigue, forbidden love, and is full of 1980s rock classics.

This musical coming to Arlington marks something even more special: it is the first American production of this musical in almost 20 years and it is Washington regions first professional production! Signature Theatre is proud to host Chess from August 10th to September 26th in its 276-seat theatre located at 4200 Campbell Avenue off I-395 Shirlington exit.
